i went to saturdays game and everyone booed heilman as he came out, he does need to step it up, mets fans are hard on forgiving him after what he did in the NLCS in 2006.

Well, don't forget about that one great save Heilman did for the Mets against the Phillies. The bases were loaded remember??? He has his moments when he comes around, overall he is a great reliever I think he's just lost hope in himself and the fans booing him doesn't help his self-esteem either. Hopefully he'll come around.

i hate when the fans boo the players like they do... especially how they booed delgado before he hit the 2 homers.. then they wanted a curtain call.. i actually dont blame Carlos for not coming out.. why should he!
i guess i never boo the players unless they are on another team.. i just feel like it doesnt help them .. it makes them feel worse..
anybody with me on this..

I know I would hate to come to my home stadium and be booed everytime i come out to play.
Yes i booed heilman too that day, But i wont tonite when i go to the game, unless he gives up a homerun or pitches crappy.
i'm hoping it doesnt rain later, I cant wait to finally see santana pitch!

I know the win wasnt pretty but david wright pulled through <3, i didnt stay the whole game cuz it was sooooo cold! we left in the top of the 8th...my toes were cold LOL
ugh opening day, i didnt watch cuz i was at work but i heard 
Yea I have the shea goodbye pack and the family pack so i have a good solid 13 games to go to this season, probably more as i'm sure i'll get random tickets
