How big?
I just had my last sonogram yesterday (32w5d) and they told me the baby weighs about 4 lbs 8 oz, and they said that is slightly under the norm in weight but fine. Just wondering what is the norm because according to some of books that is right on target... thanks.

My book states that at the start of 32 weeks the baby is just 4 lbs.. I had one at 32 weeks and the baby was just 4 lbs 2 oz, then I had one at 36 weeks and the baby is 5lbs 10 oz...

I am appoximately the same time as you and the last time I went my doctor too said the baby is about 4 lbs 8 oz also. He said I should expect another 8 lb baby (my first daughter was 8 lbs 1 oz)

We had our 30 week sono yesterday and was told she weighs 3 1/2 lbs. Actually I was told by the technician that she was measuring a week ahead (31 weeks). We have another at 32 weeks.

I'm 32w2d and I had a sono yesturday. They told me that she is weighing 4lbs8oz and that is slightly above norm. Now I don't know what to think.

Those that did have the 8 pounder, do you remember what the approx weight of the baby was at the level II?
My little one weighed 12 ounces at 19 weeks, the books said she should be about 8oz. I was an 8 pounder, I wonder if my little girl will be big too.

They measured my son weighing 3lbs 11 oz at my 32 week sono and my docs said that was within the normal range. My son was born at 39 weeks and he weighed 7lbs 15 oz.

It seems right on target. With my first, I had a sono at 32 weeks and it was estimated to be 5.5 lbs, which was chubby they said  He was born 3 weeks early at 9.7 lb, so they were pretty right!

Its funny cause you think the books would be right and the sono's, but I went for a sonogram towards the end of my 8th month and the person who did my sono said Julia should be around 6lbs at birth, well.....she ended up weighing 8lbs 5oz!!! and I had her 2 weeks early.

At my 32 weeks sono I was 32 weeks s5 days and I was measuring 4 pounds 12 oz. They said the baby will be 8 pounds or so at birth
