Re: WW Peeps!!
Sorry I have not replied. It's been a busy few days. Weigh in was yesterday and I was down 0.8lbs I know it's still a loss, but I feel miserable. I though core would work because my portion sizes are not that bad, and in flex I feel like you are punished for eating fruit. Weird I know but I just can't get past a 100calorie sf jello or pudding cup is worth what a banana or an orange is. I do like veggies, but I LOVE fruit so that is making the points add up. Breakfast is 3/4 or 1C of Fiber 1 and 1/2C ff organic milk. I then have a banana or an orange. My breakfast issue is coffee. I add 1T sugar, 2T vanilla creamer and 1T ff organic milk. Lunch is normally a salad or tuna on 1pt light wheat Aunt Millies bread so that is easier now that I found that bread. Dinner is hard. I just don't know what to make! Snacks are a fiber 1 bar or 5C 94%ff popcorn or carrots. I can't do diet pop so my coca cola and gatorade are killing me. I drink 2L water a day. This is what I need help with: I like creamy vanilla coffee...how do I do that for less points? Is vanilla almond soy any good? I need easy quick dinner ideas. Ideas for lunch....tuna salad, chicken salad, sandwiches, anything. I love salad but everyday is getting old no matter how many veggies I add. TIA!!
I REALLY appreciate all of the advice and encouragement...this is MUCH harder then I thought

I know you were hoping for more but .8 is a great loss. Be proud of yourself! Losing between .5 and 1.5 pounds per week is ideal. Anymore and it's just not healthy. You may have a week with more but every week won't be a big loss. .8 is great!
As for the coffee, have you tried non fat half and half. I like it much better than non fat milk because it's creamier. Sometimes I buy the coffeemate french vanilla creamer (fat free) and I use a touch of that with the ff half and half. It's so yummy. You can also try french vanilla flavored coffee. As for sugar, I use splenda but there is another sugar substitute, I can't remember the name that is supposed to be sweeter. You can buy it at trader joes. Honestly, the soda and gatorade are a lot of points. Have you tried any of the coke zero or pepsi zero? I think they are better than diet soda. I also drink water with lemon, decaf iced tea that's sweetened with splenda and or Crystal light.
Hope that helps.

Re: WW Peeps!!
Thank you DaisyGirl! The thing is it doesn't matter if it's ff or full flavor french vanilla it's all 1pt for 1T.....I think?! I use ff organic milk but it's just not the creamy vanilla I have been used to. I know I should use splenda, but we're also trying to get pg and I heard splenda is a no-no....have you tried the vanilla almond soy milk?

I haven't tried the soymilk. It's probably just as much points though. The ff 1/2 and 1/2 is 0 points for 2tbsp. I think it's only like 25 calories. I just use that with a tiny bit of the vanilla coffeemate maybe 1 points worth. I don't know that you are going to get creamy coffee without using 1 point. I find that's sweet enough without sugar or splenda.
How is your menu going this week? Are you finding it easier to plan meals?

Re: WW Peeps!!
I just joined last week, and am doing core for the 1st time. I think I like it.
The other night we had Chinese, and I had steamed chicken and veggies with black bean sauce over brown rice. The book lists this dish as CORE, and it felt like a real treat!
Breakfasts are tough, so I've been sticking to fruit. Tomorrow night our peapod delivery comes, so I'm excited to try some more things.
Good luck, everyone.
