Great chinese takeout in Smithtown (hauppauge/nesconset area)

YUM YUM YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

we just tried this place on a whim a few months ago, and we're hooked.
all other chinese menus are in the garbage (except for the chinese restaurants).

we thought this place was a restaurant because the food is just THAT good

and they deliver to us all the way on the other side of smithtown. I feel bad sometimes and pick up when I can.

Wow.. good to know..

My favorite place is Empire Schezwan on Jericho by the car dealerships.. but the take-out can get pricey..

And it's funny you mentioned that these people are nice..

because the people at Empire are TERRIBLE..

EVERY SINGLE time I go there the "owner" woman comes around to all the tables and EVERY SINGLE time she tells me that I look like I'm 15 and INSISTS that my son cannot possibly be my son.. (and I've been there a million times.. she knows I'm his mom)

It's seriously at the point where I feel like I will blow up on her the next time she asks.. and I very well may

So maybe I will try this place.. you know.. just to avoid being arrested for assault and everything

DH and i go to Jade Garden alot in Hauppauge, but I work near Empire Ginger so I will check it out! I love Chinese food!!

that is our FAVORITE PLACE EVER !!!!!!!! (Empire Szechuan!!!) and yes they are ANNOYINGGGGG

*heaven forBID you call a second past 4:57pm to get the half price sushi they have all week til 5pm, they will let it slide but let you know theyre not happy about it

*then they have the coupon for free wontons or soup or something, and they always say "ok, no charge for you" well it shouldnt be a charge if you have a coupon (for spending X amount).

and God forbid you wanna make a change to the order, they get all bent out of shape.

yep, that owner, she's some little businesswoman, they have several restaurants, she has a few articles by the front door, hey im all for women in business, that's great ! but I do agree with their little annoyances (is that a word? ) and their food is outrageous! we order from them way too often

but I have to say when we dine in, and we have the kids, they ARE really kind, friendly and patient with them. my boys walk out knowing everyone's names and waving goodbye

try that takeout place, you will fall over.

anyone tries it, FM me. we're super picky with chinese, this place has us so excited!! the sauce, the chicken, the shrimp, how its cooked, the quality of the food.. mmmmmmmmmm

Been to all Three. I do prefer Empire Ginger.

But, my all time favorite chinese restaurant is in Nassau County....Orchid in Garden City. But, it's too far
