How long for a CO?
Hey All,
Does anyone that currenly lives in the Town Of Babylon know how long (approx) it takes to get a CO?
My lawyer and agent say that TOB is the slowest on LI (just my luck)
My sellers just submitted 'the paperwork' on Thursday; I was wondering how long it usually takes for the appointment and other paperwork (assuming that everything is up to code, of course..)
Am I looking at 2 weeks, a month, or many months?
TIA!

Re: How long for a CO?
I think it can take up to a month, but I could be wrong.

Re: How long for a CO?
Our lawyers said that in CO usually takes about 3 months and a variance (if needed) is 6 months. This was for a home in Town of Hempstead, don't know if other towns are different. You can close with open COs though, money just has to be left in escrow.
