Tmi Question
lets say if you stopped drinking coffee after drinking it for years, does your body goes through some sort of detox or cleansing if you know what i mean?
I did that and its been going on all day.

I never liked coffee.. but your body will defiantly go through detox b/c you will be craving the caffeine. I went through it with soda.

YES! Plus major headaches too...I learned the hard way to detox slowly and not just quit cold turkey.

I drank coffee for YEAAAAAAAAAARS... I recently switched to decaf and I never had any kind of headaches etc... it's weird.

Did you stop drinking it completely?
What you can try doing is dong half caff for awhile until you get used to it, the do 75% decaf/25% caff and then switch to decaf, and eventually stop drinking it altogether.

OMG you are so lucky. I switched to decaf, and still indulge in a Starbucks Latte every now & again. But I will never forget how bad the week after I gave up caffeine was.

I think coffee works as a laxative for some and if you stop drinking it then either you get backed up or keep a going.
Was that clean enough? I tried!

I'm shocked really. Because not only am I a coffee drinker, I am an ALL DAY coffee drinker. Not just in the morning.
I stopped with the caffeine around LENT. I indulge in a caffenated coffee every now & then but I mostly stick to decaf. and never once felt as though I was having withdrawls.
perhaps it's all the other drugs I take...
