anyone else who crochetes.. find pattern directions
to be another LANGUAGE...
I know how to do single and double stitching and got a book trying to teach me other basic stitches.. then i did the ones i could. I then went to follow directions that the book had to make a hooded blanket.. and it was like reading another language.
I even tried braking it up by using the key of abbreviations.. no help at all...
I find it soo fustrating. please tell me im not the only one out there.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!
even those of us who have been crocheting since we were seven don't always understand patterns.
remember, humans write patterns. sometimes they ASSUME you can read their minds. just like any other type of writing, not everyone who does it is good at it.
