Help re NYC restaurant
A few years ago someone was telling me they went to this place downtown. It was a Moroccan/Middle Eastern/Turkish place (I don't remember which) that had private tents or huts where you had dinner. I don't remember the name of the place I just remember them raving about how romantic it was. I know this isn't a lot to go on but I figure I'll give it a try. Does this place sound familiar to anyone? TIA

It does. Was it Chez Esaada? If so, I don't think it's around anymore.

Re: Help re NYC restaurant
hmmm that name doesn't sound familiar. It is possible though that the place I am thinking of doesn't exist. Some places in the city come and go. Thanks for the try!

YES!!!! I was here about 6 years ago, VERY romantic but HATED The food-
(im not a fan of Indian/moroccan-whatever it was) I cannot for the life of me remember the name, was it something w/a "C"? Like Casimir - or something like that? Now this is going to bother me.....If I remember Ill post back again!

Re: Help re NYC restaurant
The place you are talking about is called Casa La Femme. It is a Moroccan restaurant.
I have been there some years ago and it is indeed very romantic and beautiful, however, the food left MUCH to be desired!
Hopefully, they hired a new chef since then!
Have fun!
