Which bookstore do you prefer?

Barnes and Noble or Borders?
My choice is Barnes and Noble.
But I also enjoy the mom and pop bookstores, especially the ones in small towns and villages.

Neither! I get all my books at either Costco, Target or Amazon.

B&N has a more literary feeling to it.

My fav bookstore in LI is w/o a doubt Book Revue in Huntington Village.

However, I end up ordering a lot from Amazon- it's cheaper and easier.

The Book Revue is awesome, it can be a pain to get parking.

As far as chain stores, I prefer Broders over B&N.

B&N, i print out coupons online and use my preferred member card so I get good prices on the books. I also buy books from half.com.

My grandfather used to go there at least once a week on his lunch hour and usually buy something. You could get lost in there!

I could get lost in B&N. I love going there and just browsing. It's also close by.

Book Revue (Huntington)

If I can't hold off on buying a book from there, I go to Borders since its outside my office.

Re: Which bookstore do you perfer?

I generally like B&N more, but have found that the Borders near where I live is actually much better - selection wise - than the B&N near me. But I always order my books from Amazon. It just suxx that they now charge tax on their books Chat Icon Chat Icon
