Did you use an OPK to conceive?

Did you find that the OPK was really helpful in the process, and if so, on a scale of 1 - 10, how helpful?

We used an OPK and I was also temping. The OPK was very helpful to us.

I relied on temp and CM. I used the OPK, but it didn't turn a strong color until too late. It could have been me or the tests, but the month I got pregnant, my temps and CM were textbook, but the OPK said I ovulated 2 days later than I thought....strange.

I know of other people who sware by them.

I used one so that I knew when my best chances were of conceiving since my cycles are so crazy.

I want to add, if you BD all the time anyway-like every other day-it probably doesn't matter. You really nedd it to pinpoint one or two days. They do sell them at Walmart nd Eckerd brand is less than 20. If you pay attention to your cervical mucous you can probably get one box to last for 2 months. CM should be egg whitish and stretchy

My periods were so irregular, my Dr. suggested that we use a fertility monitor. And it definately was helpful. My DD just turned 1 this past December.

I used one. we bd'd practically everyday anyway but I used one to make sure we wouldnt skip those very important days. we got pg the first month ttc and i think those definitely helpe!
