Gift
What would you like to receive as an "end of year Thank You"?
If it were a gift card, what type?
No mugs, no lotions! Don't worry, I won't do those types of gifts. I actually gave $50 for Christmas, to both teachers and 4 assistants. (he's 4) So it will probably only be a $15-20 value (each teacher)
So do you think a gift cert for a local Italian Ice place is okay? It thought it would be fun for summer.

i think the ice place gc is cute and fun for the summer. how about a gc to the mall or macys??.. teachers are always looking to expand their teaching wardrobe.

I got a gift card from Ralph's one year and have to say it was one of my fav gitfs! It is fun and summery.
I took DH and thought findly of that students.
Def. a GREAT idea! 
ETA also like GC to starbucks, B&N, Target

how about a gift card to a teaching store?
teachers are always digging into their own pockets, maybe that would help?
not opposed to mall gift cards, either!

Love the Ralph's Idea!!
Dunkin Donuts, Panera, or Starbucks is also another good idea.

I am the minority. I don't like food g.c. sorry. I get starbucks g.c's all the time and I never drink coffee or tea and really do not like the hot chocolate from starbucks. I would rather get a g.c. to target or a teacher store or something like that. Those are gifts i have really loved!
