The Host- Stephenie Meyers UPDATE Finally done.
im 50 pages into the book and im not enjoying it at all  . I really wanted to love it.
200 pages in and still not enjoying it.
6-16-08
I finally finished the host. I literally didnt like it till about page 500. I think im too in love with the twilight series. I felt no connection to any of those characters. on to Breaking Dawn.

It was slow for me in the beginning and I wasn't so sure I was going to like it either.
But now that I am about 350/400 pages in - I think it is much quicker reading and much better. I'm enjoying it now.
PS - LOVE your avatar. So are you betting on Alice??

I am finishing up Jodi Picoult's Change of Heart first, and then I will start The Host.

I know we already discussed this over FM, but I actually liked the Host. I never read sci fi so it took a while for me to get into it, but in the end I really enjoyed it. Stephenie Meyer definitely knows how to write a great love story.

FINALLY finished The Host and I am SO glad that I did! I was thinking of just not finishing it, but I got into it and ended up really liking it. Now, it doesn't even come close to the Twilight Saga, but still ended up being enjoyable after the half-way mark.
