Rome - Lodging
DH and I are going to Rome in July for a few dayus and need a place to stay. I don't want to spend too much, even a B&B would work for us. Any ideas where to look on the web? Any areas to avoid?

Depends on what you want to do while you are there. While I was comparing tour companies since DH and I will be going next year, I noticed that one company put you up in the Best Western in Rome (who knew!) that might be a good choice if you didnt want to spend a lot. I didnt look too closely at this hotel though and dont know how close it is to the spanish steps which is where I like to stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Savoy and find it to be a great location. One of the HOHO buses stopped right in front of it.
