What a relief!!
I recently applied for my permanent certification and freaked out when I saw that I need my CST Multi Subject!! I wanted to CRY!! I contacted the state and it was an error!!!! My CST is there and I do not need to take the new multi-subject test that came out in 2004!!! So excited!! Even though I'm moving to NC- I'm still thrilled to have the permanent certification!!

Thanks. I actually did the video today and it went great! I had to redo it b/c when i did it last week, with 2 minutes to go, the video camera ran out of batteries.  But it went well today.

Waiting around for the results sucks but I'm sure you did GREAT!!! We'll have to go celebrate once you get the good word!

Do you know how long it takes to get the results? Is it a set time, like when you get your test results, or is there a certain period of time after you hand the tape in?

I saw that your are moving to NC. My husband I were toying with the idea of moving there because LI is so expensive and I heard that they need teachers. What do you think of NC? In your opinion, would you recommend relocating?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it in Wilmington, NC!!! Its really a very up and coming city with tons to do!! To me it's like a mini Long Island (how I envision it once was long ago). Its very family oriented- they have festivals for everything but its really quite cute!! The beach is right there and its gorgeous and theres also Cape Fear River so theres always tons to do outdoors (there's also tons of parks which are so much nicer than the parks here). Everyone who came to visit me, when I lived there wanted to move there. My entire family is actually moving, they all loved it so much!! When I moved there, I was offered 2 jobs within a week, and had more calls afterwards for interviews which I turned down. Def somwthing to check out!! GOOD LUCK!
