It'll sound silly but...
I am SO HAPPY right now because I have FINALLY finished grading TWO SETS of AP research papers that have been tormenting me for SO LONG. I feel FREEEEE! (even if I still have a bunch of other stuff to grade...)
I just had to celebrate!

Thank you both! I am WAY too  to say how long I've ACTUALLY had these papers... but I will say that for ME, it's not as bad as it's been in the past. Either way... tomorrow, they are OUTTA this house!

Oh, I don't even want to tell you how long I hold onto some things... I tell them that if I hear them say "I don't remember writing this!", they lose points. (That would be my guilt talking )

Oh, no. What's funny is when a kid forgets I've said that and starts to say "I don't remember..." and the rest of them hiss "SHUT UP! SHE'LL GET MAD!" Very entertaining.

It's ironic that we take a long time to grade, but get mad when the kids are late with stuff
