Re: Boston?
I love Boston. I usually stay at my friends house but the time DH and i went we stayed at the Doubletree in Cambridge.....SO NICE!!!
Theres so much to do there. Shopping along Newbury St, duck tours, Quincy Market, Boston Aquarium, Fenway Park. This is off top of my head. I suggest going to Barnes and Noble and looking at some travel books

Re: Boston?
We stated in the outskirts of Boston(Marriott) it was 7 miles( I think) from downtown, and saved a lot of money. We booked thru hotels.com and it included a hot buffet breakfast in the Marriott in Burlington. We went the end of March for our anniversary. WE took the duck tour which was a lot of fun, but they neglected to tell us there was no heat in it and we FROZE! I ended up as well as DH with a terrible cold. We had on layers and down coats, hats , gloves etc, I was never so cold ever. There is a lot to do in Boston. HTH
