Re: stupid question???
The gestation period for a human baby is 40 weeks or 9 months. If you conceive in september your baby will most likely be born in june....9 months later

Re: stupid question???
I believe that a pregnancy is 40 weeks. The dates are always a bit off. But honestly, the chances of conceiving exactly when you would like, are slim. Not trying to sound negative, just being realistic. That one area in life, is very hard to try. Some people get pregnant right away, some have healthy babies, others have miscarriages, some people can't conceive until the following June, etc.

9 months does not equal 36 weeks. Most months have more than 4 weeks. 7 days in a week times 4= 28 days...that would give you Feb, the rest all have more days...put all the extra days together and it will add up to 4 more weeks :)

Re: stupid question???
I understand it is almost impossible to pin point your exact moment/month. I was just asking, we are not even TTC yet, but due to work I would like to try to plan my pregnancy (if possible) around a certain time of the year.....if it is not possible then i will be happy with whatever happens when it happens

Re: stupid question???
I conceived in August and I am due in may. Most likely you would have to conceive in September to have a baby in June.

Re: stupid question???
I tried planning my pregnancy the very same way and learned real quick that my plan wasn't working. I started trying in July hoping for an April baby, then August for a June baby, etc etc etc. We got pregant in November and due in August which isn't ideal for me since I am a school teacher, but God always has a plan for everyone and I'm just grateful for getting pregnant. Good luck!

Re: stupid question???
To calculate exactly, use the first date of your AF, subtract 3 months and then add one week for the due date.
If it were only this easy to plan...
