Question

So I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom and saw very light spotting ( i haven't had this in about a week and a half) and then it never happened again. I feel a little crampy too, nothing unbearable just alittle annoying. My question is.. i am going to be 10 weeks on Tuesday, is this just some stretching that I may feel? does the baby start to move up at this time? Anyone else experience this?

i don't think there is usually any stretching or movement going on at 10 weeks. there are plenty of people who spot in the first trimester and it's nothing - but I think it's always safer to let your ob know that you are spotting, they may want to have you come in for an US, or they may just take a "watch and wait" attitude. I had cramping all throughout my 1st trimester and the Dr. said it was stretching. I never had spotting though, but I have heard that it's normal- only time to get alarmed is if the spotting is brownish or clumpy and the cramps are severe. Call your Dr. anyway to let him know. You can never be too careful!

I had a lot of cramping in the beginning and it was all normal but never any spotting. It's probably nothing at all, but you should call your Dr just to let him know and see what he says.

Could it be implantation spotting? I would ask your DR to be safe! I had what felt like mild stretching, like my period was coming on for the 1st few weeks but never any spotting or bleeding. Hope all is ok!

I woke up this morning and also had spotting so I feel your pain. I am 8w 2days today. I had spotting 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. They told me that as long as it's brown and not heavy not to worry. I also am experiencing some pain for the past 3 days but I think it's because I've been battling constipation. My progesterone levels were through the roof and I think it's the heightened levels that mess with your disgestive system.

Are you still spotting or has it stopped?
