What plans do you have for the baby's room?
When I was pregnant with Molly we did not know the gender but I am not too into "neutral" rooms so I picked out 2 crib bedding sets and then painted the room Honey Pot Yellow, which matched both sets.
Molly has a ladybug tea party theme for her room. I had a mural painted on the walls and her bedding is reds, paprika and off white with small butterflies on some panels of the quilt. It is not as "pink" as it appears in this photo For a boy I was going to go with a cowboy ranch theme and use a demin type crib set.
Now for our son I am not sure what exactly I plan to do. I know I want this Navy dresser and Bookshelf We will probably get the bed and store it until we can use it. I love when the set all matches. I am going to get Molly a toodler bed and use the crib for his room. I am probably going to stick with a demin type bed set but not sure what else. I was thinking of ABCs or tying something about Ethiopia into the room. My big dilemna is the glider/ottoman. I love Molly's glider set. And we use it all the time. We sing on it, cuddle on it. I hate to think of it out of her room and she does consider it "her's". I am thinking of trying to prove to Scott that we need another one for the new baby..of course this will take some difficult manuevers on my part, but I think I can pull it off. It took 12 weeks for Molly's glider to come in..her crib set was here in 3 weeks. So if you are looking at them make sure you inquire about delivery times since you may have to order it early.
What are you all planning on? What bedsets do you like?

Re: What plans do you have for the baby's room?
I absolutely LOVE Molly's room. You have amazing taste. I actually already bought the stuff for my nursery. Joe and I always call our baby-to-be our little lamb (cheesy, I know) so we wanted to find a lamb nursery theme. I posted on the pregnancy board and someone found one for me, so I ordered it online and absolutely love it. It's definitely more boy looking than girl, but chances are, we'll get a boy anyway.
I like the idea of incorporating something from the child's country of origin into the nursery too. I've been online shopping for something special to add.
I lucked out in the crib/changing table/glider area because I'm the youngest of four sisters and got all three handed down to me. They're still in excellent condition and I probably would have bought the same set myself.
We have everything set up already. We just have to paint the walls. We were going to go with a very pale gender-neutral yellow but now that we got this set, it doesn't really match so we're going to have to go with baby blue. I'm sure some will think it looks more like a boy's room, but I'll figure out a way to make it more girlie if I get a girl referral. We are probably going to start painting tomorrow. It's fun knowing you're going to have a baby, not hoping.

Right now I'm looking at this crib set. I change my mind every day. We have a crib from my cousin's baby and we are purchasing a dresser and bookcase to match from Behrs. I would love to have a mural painted on the wall, so if you know someone good I'd love to give them a call. Michele, I LOVE Molly's room!

Karen--
I love the crib set!!! I saw a bed like that in a store window and took Scott by on Saturday to look at it ---I just love it! My SIL gave me a tea cup set w/ stand which is quite shabby chic and I think that is what the baby's room will be, pinky and chicy....I love that bed! (not saying it is shabby chic-)
Susan! I didn't know you had your room done already. Is that photo of your nursery? Beautiful!!!!!
Molly's tea set is precious!!! Just love it! My neice is named Molly and she is going to be 3yrs old.

No, it's not done yet, but we do have the crib and changing table set up because my friend was visiting with her baby (well, that was a good excuse anyway...lol.) We still have to paint the room and get the computer desk out of here. We have noplace to put the office stuff! You China ladies are lucky that you know what sex you are going to get!
