synergy - thoughts?
wanted to get some feedback on synergy? DH and I got an awesome deal but i'm a little hesitant...seems too much of maybe a 'meathead' (no offense, JMO) gym to me. the deal is amazing though - $399 (total) for both of us for the first 4 months and includes 10 half hour personal training sessions. After the 4 months are up, it's $35/each per month.
synergy members, how long have you been members and how much do you like it?

Re: synergy - thoughts?
I go to synergy. I have for almost 2 years and I love it! I had a PT also when I first joined who was awesome. And my friend had a PT who was great too. They have a great selection of machines and weights and I have never had to wait for treadmill or elliptical. I guess it also depends which one you go to. Cause I actually had to go to a different one for 4 months when we were in the process of moving and I didn't like it there as much as I do mine.

Re: synergy - thoughts?
I was a member of the one in Levittown for one year. I loved it there. Everyone (the staff, members) were always really friendly. I would still be a member, but I relocated upstate.
My only problem with synergy is the rates seem to be steadily increasing for such a small gym. Ballys next door is practically the same price and they have a pool, indoor track, and better classes. (I was a member there for a summer a few years back).

I remember everyone that worked at the synergy I went to too was so friendly!
Now I'm part of NYSC. I love their classes!
