Doubling up BCP (Because you missed one)...
I doubled up my BCP this morning because I missed it the past 2 days. Has this ever made anyone feel really sick?

What pill do you take?
I'm on a generic... Aviane (I think that's it.) It's a super low dose BCP.
The reason I ask is that I was on the patch a few years back and the first day I put it on I was SO nauseous.
Thanks for the responses! I'll see how it goes today. I only took it at 7am. I'm usually really good about taking it but I forgot to get my pack refilled.

I have never felt sick when I had to double up - although I always take it right before bed.

two in a row didnt make me sick, but one time, i was a real moron and i took three. I almost passed out and i was nauseous half the day!

I'm on ortho tricyclin lo, and I did it recently. I didn't feel sick. But with more hormone you may feel sick. I remember once when I was on regular ortho tri-cyclin, I could only take half the pill because it broke in half and the other half got pulverized as I was taking it out. Boy, did I feel that. I felt awful.

Yesterday I took 3 because I forgot to take them over the weekend. I felt a little nauseous in the morning, but I was okay by lunch time.

YES!!! This made me feel so sick. I remember the first pills after my period used to make me extremely sick as well. I learned that whenever I forgot apill, I would take one right away and wait a couple of hours to take the next one. I heard that if you get really sick form doubling BCP, you will have terrible morning sickness when you are pg...and guess what...I do!!
