I got great pics at 26 weeks. They say not before 25. Just hit the FAQ section and this website will give you some guidelines..........I attached my 26 week pics so you can get an idea.....

I just love those pics!! I showed them to my DH when you first posted them and convinced him to agree to having it done  I think I'm going to do it around 28 weeks or so.

Ok, so FH is being stubborn about this and doesn't want me to get one. He thinks it will give off some kind of damaging rays to the baby.  How is it done? Is is similar to a regular sonogram?

The "rays" the machine emits is the same as a high tech 2D ultrasound unit. Matter of fact they find the baby and constantly click back and forth between 2D and 3D/4D. A 4D ultrasound is a 2D ultrasound read by a machine that creates a 4D image. You would never know if you were having a 2D done on a 4D capable machine. Most places are starting to switch out their old machines with 4D capable machines. When I went to get my fetal echo done they switched over to 4D and shocked us. She said the high tech offices prefer them.
