Are those statistics right on the EPT boxes?
They say 93% will get a positive 2 days before. Is that accurate?

Re: Are those statistics right on the EPT boxes?
not really....I used several First Response Early (pink box) and even when I was PG, they were BFN, even 2 days before AF was due.
I had better luck with the CBE Digital and the CVS Store brand.
The stats are based on women who are actually PG and got positive results.
check out www.peeonastick.com it's very informative

Re: Are those statistics right on the EPT boxes?
the statistics ****...they are dumb. Like the first response which says 5 days early on the box, yet the statistics show its only like 68%..thats not very many..yet you buy it based on the 5 days early BEFORE you know.

Re: Are those statistics right on the EPT boxes?
BUT...I have to tell you my OBGYN wrote a medical article on HPT tests and was talking to me about them..They are NOT FOR PROFIT..by law they are unable to be..something about being for the common good etc...Wasnt listening to that part...but she said no matter how much you pay, it all goes back to the company to further their research on their product, they CANNOT make money on them.
I doubted her, and looked online and found that this is true..
That fact helps me a " little" in the amount we WASTE on them...IMO

Re: Are those statistics right on the EPT boxes?
I got a faint BFP with EPT when I was pg, 4 days before AF was due. I think the percentages on the boxes are as accurate as possible, but everyone is different. You have to take into consideration that I think they're giving those %s according to a women with a regular 28-32 day cycle. If you ovulate late, or have an irregular cycle, I would believe that the %s drop.
