2 ww and cold medicine

I am in the 2 ww and have a terrible cold. I took Dayquil yesterday but now I"m nervous. I'm not due for AF until the 26th so it's too early to test.

Does anyone know if there are certain cold medications that are safe to take?

You should be okay. Your body does a good job protecting the embryo from anything in your 2ww when you don't know you are pg.

I used to be very careful during the 2ww, and it drove me crazy! Pre pg, I would drink, do everything I normally do to go on with life like i wasn't TTC. Even now PG, i eat and do mostly everything i normally do.
