I had to check 2 bags when I was returning to FL from NY. I had to go inside because I had to pay the $20.00 2nd bag fee. Jetblue is cashless so be sure to have your debit or credit card ready. I was also leaving from Gate 19 which meant I had to take the shuttle bus.

From the moment my dad dropped me off at the airport till I got to my gate it took 1 hour. (this also included going through security)

So if you're leaving on Jetblue out of JFK and checking 2 bags as a passenger definately allow for more time to get to your gate.
