Has anyone been on vacation with out the twins yet?
We are supose to go for a business trip with out the babies on Sunday. But, I am starting to get cold feet about leaving them with my in-laws. I guess I am just a bit nervous!
Has anyone gone? If so, hold old were the babies when you went?

Us too, we decided we are going to wait till they are 2 years old before we go away without them.

yes, we have. We went to AC for 3 days and 2 nights. In fact we are going again this summer

Yes. We have. A few times. First time was when they were pretty young. DH and I went to Vegas and the girls were with my parents.
We've since been to Atlantic City...Montauk....stuff like that. We are big believers in getting away without the girls. I don't really understand peole that hesitate to do so.

I've gone away for the weekend. But, hubby was home with the kids.
I think EVERY mom should do that!

I have been away with DH to Greenport, Massachusets. I also have been to Mohegan Sun and Vegas without the babies.
I am a big believer in taking time for yourself and with DH. Especially with 2 babies at home!
Your in-laws know how to raise a baby, so don't get cold feet. Enjoy the time with DH.

Yes, We went away last year and are planning to go away in
the fall.

Our parents all work full-time so there's no way we could go away for an extended period of time. We also don't have the $ to spend on a vacation just for us (we are hoping to take one next year though).
We did go away for a funeral, unfortunately, and we did go away for the weekend for a wedding in May - we had such an amazing time. I really wish we could do it more often.
We travelled so much before they were born, and we know we will when they are a little older, we have come to terms with the fact that we are on a little travel break.
