Random question about bulletin boards!

Let's say you don't have to change rooms year to year.

How long do you leave your paper and borders up?

Are your bulletin boards all the same color and border or do you have a mish mosh of colors and borders?

I know you sooo don't want to think about it, but I'm curious

For my main bulletin boards that are in my classroom, I actually painted them blue (got that idea from the 1st grade teachers in my school). No more dealing with paper! I leave up the borders too. Looks so much neater than paper! Maybe you could ask to do that?

My hallway bulletin board, I put up paper and a border and left that up all year, but at the end of year we're told to bring them down.

It depends on the sun. I have two rooms. In one room, they are all faded from the sun. The other room has better blinds and not as much sun exposure and they have been up for two years with no problems.

I took them all down, b/c the paper fades...But I leave the paper up all year.

i have the fadeless paper. it's been up for 4 years and still looks perfect! the holes get covered by the new things i hang up, so i just leave it.

i keep them all the same--less distracting to kids with sensory problems. when there are too many colors and patterns, it can be overwhelming to a child with attention or sensory disorders.

Everytime I go into a new room I change it...even if I had the same room I would. I pick a color and the borders that go with it a do a theme and that is it for the year
