Re: what is "convection roast/bake" ?
my husband (the engineer LOL) says that the convection setting just helps circulate the air more for more even baking... i think its good for cookies and cakes and stuff...

Re: what is "convection roast/bake" ?
The convection roast I used once or twice to make a meat of some sort....One including a Turkey.
I almost always use Convection Bake.
Like the OP said, it does circulate more evenly. The Convection Roast I do remember cooked the meat very fast. I think I used it on Turkey for Thanksgiving for the very first time. But I was nervous b/c it was ready before I was prepared to have it done. Thankfully, it still came out delicious and moist. LOL
Also, by using the convection, it drops the degrees by 25. If I Convection Bake or (roast) at 400 degrees, it automaticaly sets at 375. If I set it at 375 degrees, the oven will set it at 350 degrees. Im sure your oven does the same.
