Anchovy free Pasta Puttanesca
So I made my own versiontonight and thought I'd share the recipe.
I used Barilla Mezzi Rigatoni (they are half tubes)
I diced some garlic Took black pitted olives and quartered about a 1/3 cup. Took a spoonful of capers sprinkle of red pepper flakes Used a small can of diced tomatoes
Boil the water and add pasta. heat olive oil in a frying/sauce pan. Add garlic Saute Add olives and capers and red pepper flakes. Stir. Add can of diced tomatoes and the juices. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Took about an inch of feta cheese and chopped/crumbled.
Rinse pasta. Add sauce on top. Sprinkle feta on top.
Super easy and yummy!
