I ended up finding it at Best Yet in Coram.
It is quite good. I ended up broiling it and seasoning it up with lime juice, salt, chili powder.
Tried to do the raw thing, but think I still need to adjust to eating it raw . . . it was a little weird raw.

I've seen it at the one in Manhasset. You could always call the store before you head out to make sure your not wasting a trip.

its a veggie that is used alot in Spanish cooking. It has the cinsistancy of a potato. YUMMY!!
