Re: weight gain

Wow 6lbs, HOw did you do it? I gained 26lbs, at 25 weeks pg.

Personally, those weight gain charts are soo generic, you will only worry yourself. My dr hasn't said anything to me about my weight gain, so I refuse to put myself up against what's the common average.

Some women only gain 20 lbs for their whole pg.

I agree those weight gain charts are very generic... How can a 5 ft 100 lb gal be expected to gain the same as a 5ft 8 150 lb gal and so on... I think it all depends on what we weighed before hand and what we are advised by our DR to gain or not to gain.

I'm 28 weeks and at my last appointment I only gained around 12 lbs. It should be fine. Every appointment I gained a pound or 2. As long as you are gaining a little, you should be fine.

Re: weight gain

At 20 weeks I had gained 10 pounds and by 40 weeks i gained 25 total. For me...i didn't gain a pound until month 4 and then progressively gained more each month.
