I got the job!
I had a second interview today which went extremely well. Then they called me at 4:30 this afternoon to offer me the position!  
I will be teaching in a private elementary school even though I really wanted to work in a public school. But the school is on LI so I can't complain! It has been a very frustating year. I am just so happy and relieved to get a full time position.

Congrats to you! The Catholic school setting on LI is good. good people there! DH and I went to Catholic schools on the Island and I am active in the Diocese... FM if you would like to share where you're working and maybe I can give you some feedback.

I worked in a Catholic School for two years--the pay isn't great, but the kids make up for it. They were SO well-behaved!!

Thanks! I agree about the kids. They are definitely better behaved. I am so exicted to have my own classroom again!
