Re: ww dinner.... what do you make

This helped me

I use the WW recipe's online tools. They have some good recipes. You can also use the recipe builder to see how many points something you normally make would be and you can noodle around to try to cut down the points.

Re: ww dinner.... what do you make

Kristin, I have 2 Word documents with a bunch of WW recipes. FM me you email and I'll send them to you. I've only tried a few of them, but they've definitely given me ideas.

Here are some other things that I make for dinner:

Turkey Meatloaf
Perdue Low-Fat Homestyle Breaded Chicken Cutlets (2 pt each)
Barilla Plus Spaghetti or Penne - has lots of fiber
Catfish or Tilapia (baked, broiled, or blackened)
Skinless Chicken breasts (baked or blackened)
Rice (mostly brown but also make Uncle Ben's packaged rices)
Beef Stew
Chili with ground turkey
Boca Burgers
Chicken fajitas w/FF tortillas and black bean corn salsa

Re: ww dinner.... what do you make

When I did WW, a couple things I used to eat were:

piece of grilled chicken on a plate with vermicelli pasta, marinara sauce and a slice of 2% mozzerlla. The vermicelli is very very thin so a cooked portion looks like something.

lean cuisine french bread pizzas, sometimes with the 2% cheese on top for a little extra

Healthy choice mac & cheese with banquets baked chicken pieces.

The bake chicken was one point per piece. The Kraft 2% sliced cheeses were one point each but tasted & melted much better then the fat free slices which were also a point.

I did lots of salads & such too.

Re: ww dinner.... what do you make

Heres four I have saved that I tried many timea and love!

Mexican Chicken Casserole
makes 2 servings
5 points a serving

1 & 1/2 boneless cubed cooked chicken(breast)
2 & 1/2 corn or I use the 98% FF and comes out just as good Tortillas ( cut into bite size pieces)
1/2 can of lowfat 9or I have tried FF) cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup of low fat chicken broth
1/2 cup of FF cheese ( any good cheddar, mexican blend etc)
1/4 cup of diced chiles

Mis all ingriedients and pour into a pie plate, sprinkle seasongs or mexican seasongs on top to taste

cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I eat with light or FF sour cream and sometimes salsa

Perogie Bake Casserole
3 servings
5 points each

7 perogis
1/2 a 5ox can of black beans
1/2 cup of FF shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 6 oz can of tomato sauce
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp onion flakes

In a 9x13 baking pan, sprayed with Pam, place pierogies in bottom, then black beans, then tomato sause, sprinkle with Mrs Dash or other seasonings, onion flakes and garlic powder, and then top with cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes

Tortilla Bake
3 servings
4 points each

1 & 1/2 Chicken breasts
3 tortillas ( the 98% low fat ones)
3/4 cup of enchilada sauce
3/4 cup of FF cheddar cheese(shredded)
1/4 cup of FF or low fat refried beans

Cook chicken , then shred up, mix chicken with 1/2 of the enchilada sauce.

In a casserole pan line 1 and 1/2 of the tortillas side by side, the 1/2 the chicken mix, then the rest of the enchilada sauce, then the cheese , then the beans, then the rest of the chicken mix, and place the remaining 1 and 1/2 of the tortillas on top.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes

Crab Bisque with Rice
2 servings
4 points

1/4 to 1/2 (depending on preference) of diced tomatoes with herbs( from can)
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper ( any kind, I like red the best)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp basil
2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 can lump crabmeat ( I have used imatation freash and it works just as well)
1/2 cup rise

Saute onions, pepper, garlic till tender, add diced tomatoes and herbs and cook until tender , take off from heat, add the crabmeat and stir till heated through.

Serve over cooked rice

( I find 1/2 cup of rice is not enough for 2 people, so I usually add some points by making 1/2 cup of rice for each person)
1/2 cup chopped onion

Re: ww dinner.... what do you make

Tonight I took, low fat purdue breaded chicken breast, low fat Mozzerella, and a little sauce from a cup of organic ragu sauce. ( 4 pts)

I then had 2 oz of ronzoni good harvest whole wheat spaghetti and bulked it up with steamed broccoli (5 points) and the rest of the 1 cup of sauce that I did not use on the chicken breast...

It was really good and filling.
