Contacting BOCES?
I was talking to someone about how I loved subbing in Kindergarten and was so sad that I didn't get my dual certification (I'm 1-6), and they mentioned calling BOCES and speaking to someone about going over my transcript and discussing what else I would need to get certification. Has anyone ever done this before, or would know who to contact? TIA!

they are great at BOCES. It depends if you are closer to ES boces of WS boces. There are certification officers at each and they will review your transcripts and tell you what you need to complete your certification and even help you send it up to the state.

ITA!! These ladies know more about certification than the people in Albany do! GO for it!!

I applied for my permanent cert through WS Boces and they were wonderful. They made it sooo easy. It was worth the processing fee.
