What is your favorite Disneyworld resort?
We love, love, love the Polynesian, but is was very expensive to stay there. Just wondering how some of the other resorts are???

there's alot of info/feedback on the different resorts on the travel board. Also, DisBoards has alot of reviews as well.

I have stayed at the Polynesian a bunch of times, that's my favorite. The Boardwalk is really nice too. We also stayed at the Old Key West resort there last time because my parents have a the Disney Vacation club. That was cool, it was a two bedroom apartment on Disney property.
Hands down though give a choice I'm going to the Ploynesian

The Grand Floridian!!!!
I also really liked The Wilderness Lodge.
Those can be pretty pricey. Out of the "moderate" places we liked the Dixie Landing or Port Orleans places - really pretty. For convenience, the Contemporary is great! The monorail runs right through it.

We loved Polynesian too, but the Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans are also both nice! DH and I are big Disney people. Check out allearsnet.com. They have reviews and pictures of resorts.

We stayed at the All-Star resorts last time we were there. Probably the cheapest Disney rooms available, but all we did in the room was sleep, shower and change clothes. We really didn't see the room very much. You still get all the benefits of being a Disney guest (early admission to parks, souvenirs delivered to your room, etc), but for a fraction of the price. It's not on the monorail line, but there are buses.

I have always loved the Contemporary. I have stayed there a few times. I have also stayed in Caribbean Beach a few times. It's ok.
We visited the Wilderness lodge and I was really imprsssed. I think I might stay there or the Polynesian or Grand Floridian next time. There are just so many amazing hotels to chose from.

I have been to to Disney twice in the last 2 years with DH for a conference... so, it's not like i have been there many times.
But. if I had my way-- and we could get a conference price on the Grand Floridian- I would opt to stay there.
Otherwise, I prefer the Beach Club resorts-- Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk. I like that you can walk on the boardwalk, go into shops, get a snack, etc. right there... Plus, you can walk right into Epcot and do more of the same-- especially great for when you are by yourself like I usually am since DH was "working". It's more of a town feeling.

I love the Boardwalk! It is so pretty, so many fun things to do on the Boardwalk and a short walk to Epcot or boat to MGM (or whatever they call it now).
We also stayed at Wilderness and it is visually striking, but has very small rooms for a "deluxe" property.
I loved both and would happily stay at either one again.

We stay at the Grand Floridian, and go to the Polynesian for the breakfast with the characters.
Grand Floridian has a GREAT restaurant!

I love the Beach Club! I've stayed there and The Contemporary (also awesome) with my friend (parents have vacation club). When DH and I went we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter - we really liked it!
