Where to have a kiddie birthday party for adults

I know, this is weird. I'm kicking around a few ideas for my FH's birthday, and he's really depressed about his birthdya, so I thought maybe it might be fun to have a kiddie party for him, pretend he's 5. Like chuck e cheese or something. we can all play skee ball. Any ideas?

BTW: Our friends would totally be up for it, they're all zany and crazy. They ot us gift certificates for adventureland for my birthday so we can all go and act like kids. I think this party would of course work better someplace where alcohol is served Chat Icon

Though it doesn't have alcohol I am planning to have DH's 30th at the McDonald's Mansion on Jericho Tpke in New Hyde Park.
They have a huge party area upstairs... and it's really nice!

That's a GREAT idea. FH lives not 5 min from there, and ti would be an easy surprise party, cause I could just say "hey let's go to the mansion mcD's"

How did you set up the party? Can you give me some details? Thanks a million

I met a girl at a party once who did this for her FH so that's where I got the idea. I TOTALLY want to do it for my DH--- but his birthday is still a while away and I haven't looked into it yet. All I know is that it can be done.
I'd stop by the McMansion and maybe talk to someone about it.
DEFINITELY let me know how it turns out!
