DH has been seeing Dr. Gutman in Mineola for about a year. He sees a LOT of specialists for a lot of different things and Dr. Gutman is one of his fav. docs. He said he has a very good bedside manner, always returns his phone calls and spends a good amt. of time talking on the phone with him and answering his questions on the phone, and also is not rushed while examining/consulting with him. He finds him to be very thourough.

Thanks - Does anyone know a doctor closer to levittown though. I have a doctor in Valley Stream I used to go to. If I will travel I will just go to him, but I wanted to find someone more local.

my gastro is in Garden City. Dr. Perry Gould. Dr. Bartholomeo is the head of the practice and they are both on the top 50 docs in their speciality in LI.
He has a endoscopy suite in his office. Very convenient and state of the art.

Scott- I don't know if you are still looking but we recently e-mailed our insurance comp. for gastr recs because we need to find one that will perform surgery for my DH, and this is the list of docs close to Levittown that they gave us.

Funny I made an appointment with Dr Andrew Rosenberg in that office because my wifes friend has been going their for years and highly recommends them.
