Just booked Excellence Punta Cana! Anything to do there?
Besides the all-inclusive, is there anything worth doing in Punta Cana?

We were there in Jan. (pics in album) The only thing we did was the quad tour. It was fun but so hot. Couldn't wait to get back to the resort for the pool.
Honestly, if we didn't do it I wouldn't have missed it. We had a great time just at the resort.
When are you going?
ETS: We also did the horseback riding that was at the resort. And I felt terrible doing it. Those poor horses didn't look well taken care of. I wanted to turn around and get off 1/2 way through the trail.

Oh you are so lucky! DH and I went there for our HM back in September. It was seriously such an amazing trip. DR is a pretty unsafe area so you def don't want to go off of the resort alone. The resort does offer several excursions. The Catamaran cruise seemed fun. We didn't do anything but hang out in the pool, on the beach, and eat! They have shows at night that are slightly corny but fun. I wrote a review on LIW with advice and stuff cause a few other girls were going there as well. I WISH we were going back this year! You are going to be amazed and have a blast! There is so much to do at the resort, that I don't think you'll really want to venture off. Although there are a ton of excursions you can do. Be sure to take prof. photos on the beach as well. Def a must have!

we are going October 11-16, and I gave the horseback riding thing 1 second of thought, DH is highly allergic, and I immediately thought about those poor horses and the heat!!!

We went there for our honeymoon back in Sept. 06, we did the catamiran excursion. It was just OK.
We went horseback riding. That was fun, but be sure to WEAR JEANS!!! Trust me on this. 
We would have liked to have done the excursion where you dive with sharks and stingrays but we missed it. We heard it was a lot of fun.
Honestly, there was plenty for us to do there. As I said, it was our honeymoon so we weren't looking to do too much, we were so pooped from the wedding.

See if you can do the Sanoa Island tour. It's a catamaran and boat tour. It's literally an all day event. It was so much fun!
