My parents told me the other day that they pay $6k in Levittown and that their taxes were relatively cheap. I guess they were right.

Seriously, it's very sad that 6k/year in taxes is considered cheap.

Yeah its a smaller house but still on the same size lot as ours (65x160). He's selling it now and those are the TRUE taxes!

It just seems so drastic...you mentioned the property size was the same. Man, I would kill for taxes that low.
