Re: Resturaunts in Huntington
Abel Conklin's has AWESOME food, but I wouldn't consider the atmosphere "fun".
Tomo or Samarai are worth checking out if you're into hibachi. Samarai is primarily hibachi whereas Tomo has regular seating where you can get sushi and such.
Rookies is a sports bar with tvs at every booth (you can change the channel) and big screen tvs everywhere. I've had both good and bad service experiences there, but the food has always been good.
Canterbury Ales and Meehans both have a fun/casual/relaxed atmosphere and are reasonable in price.
I haven't been to it, but my sister and her DH like 34 New St.

Another Abel Conklins fan. Restaurant has been around for years.
I have to agree with op, restaurant isn't fun...it's more of an business lunch/dinner type place but the food is excellent.
