British Virgin Islands, chartered a private sailboat ...August...very warm, but very quiet since its the low season!

Honestly, I had a really memorable time in Arizona.
DH and I went for our first anniversary to Scottsdale, stayed at the Biltmore in late October, 2006.
The hotel is unbelievable, and I found the most amazing restaurant, the chef was even on Iron Chef!!! It's called Tarbells and I had one of the best meals of my life there.....nothing outrageous, just good, good food.

We took a day trip to Sedona, absolutely fantastic! We took a jeep tour of the red rocks, ate rattlesnake, saw Lucill Ball's house.....went to a crazy ghost town named Jerome...

I have to say it was one of the nicest vacations I ever took. Something different, something in the US, a place we had never been....it was really great and I highly recommend it!

My favorite vacation was when we cruised on RCCL - Liberty of the Seas. We went for a week and it was amazing. We went to Puerto Rico, St. Maartin and Labadee Haiti. Puerto Rico was my favorite port.

In St. Maartin we did the tree top adventure where we did an obstacle course in the trees. It was 32 things which included zip lines, walking on ropes, planks and just swinging from the trees. We had a BLAST!!! I was sure aching when we were done but it was so much fun.

The cruise overall was magical. We ate, we danced, we saw a show every night, did the art auction, did bingo, woke up early, went to bed late and really enjoyed ourselves. We had such a great time. We met such wonderful people. It was just a week of heaven.

San Fran comes in close too. We saw the Giants play the white sox, the weather was wonderful, we ate at some great places and did some tours. San Fran has some history to it and it was neat learning about it.

Italy in June 2008
Absolute best time of my life

DH and I flew to Rome. Spent a few nights there and rented a car. Went to a small castle in Tuscany and took a wine tour and stayed there one night.

Took day trips to Siena (unbelievable) and Verona. Spent some nights in Florence and then drove to Venice!!! It was breathtaking.

From there we went to Sicily and spent some time with relatives and at a resort.

I cant even describe how it felt to see the churches, art and eat the food!!! I cant wait to go back

Maybe because it was my honeymoon but DH & I really enjoyed Royal Hideaway in Playa del Carmen Mexico.

The hotel, the service, the food, the staff - the entire experience was outstanding!!

There were many activities if you wanted since it's on the Mayan Rivieria so you can travel to Cozumel, Cancun, Tuluum, etc if you want

DH & I would like to go next year for our 5th anniversary.

Whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon.

I went for seven days, but I think you can go for less or more.

There are guides that provide the raft (motorized if you want, so you don't even have to row!), tents, and food.

An amazing and exhilerating adventure!

I have to second Italy and add Switzerland. We went June/July. 6 days in Switzerland and 9 in Italy.

Flew to Zurich and took the trains to Luzern, Interlaken, and Zermatt then on to Lake Como and Venice. We then drove from Venice to Florence and on to Rome. Flew home from Rome.

Everything about the trip was amazing--the people, the scenery, the food, the wine...

We really tried to take it slowly and do our own thing. Our most favorite place in Switzerland was Luzern. Gorgeous lake and river as well as beautiful mountains. The town was so quaint and had plenty to explore. Lake Como was our most favorite part of Italy. The weather was perfect (after crappy weather in Switzerland), the towns so peaceful...Our favorite day of the entire trip was when we took 7 hour wine tour through Tuscany. It was a very small group and we went to 2 wineries and an agriturismo for lunch. We just didn't want the day to end.

We have been other places in Europe, the Caribbean, South Pacific, US, and I think Italy is the one place in the world I would go back to again and again.

I have been to some pretty amazing places but my best, hands down, most fun vacation was Margarita Island, Venezeula. I was at an all inclusive resort, they had a club, the hotel bars were open till you couldnt drink anymore, they had shows everynight and I took a lot of optional tours like 4 wheeling on one side of the island (which kinda reminded me of Arizona except overlooking the ocean and then going to the other side of the island for the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen...I actually framed them and have them hanging on my wall. Loved, loved, loved it.

Any trip I have taken to Disney has been great.

We also just got back from Beaches Turks and Caicos and had a fantastic time. I would go there again in a heartbeat. Turks is gorgeous and the resort was beautiful!

I just got home from my favorite vacation ever! DH and I spent 2 weeks in France and we had the best time! We started in Paris and visited Biarritz, Aix-en-Provence, and Nice.
