So what more can I do? A Vent..that more then just S*cks

my desk sits right outside the directors door,. it is my job to talk to clients all day and answer the phone assisting with issues, this is the 2nd day in a row she called me in to her office and said i need to talk lower b/c she is working on an important project...um sometimes i need to talk louder b/c the client is old and cant hear me, AND for the record i m out in the open do not have a door to close...SHE HAS A DOOR, she could very well shut hers so she can work on her project,

meanwhile her door is wide open with her partner working on a project and i can hear every word THEy are saying..did she stop and think that maybe i m shouting b/c i cant hear over THERE CONVERSATION..

SHUT the F*cking door, i swear its going to burst out of my mouth if i hafta tolerate this much longer..

Is there anyway you can discuss this with her without blowing up? I'm sorry your boss is such an azzhat and doesn't realize that she may be contributing to the problem

ugh - that is annoying. I work with clients and sales agents all day in an open cubicle office ..........some people talk SO SO SO SO freaking loud you want to hang yourself

I'd tell her to be successful at in your job you need to meet the needs of the customers -- sometimes that means talking louder than you'd like sometimes. Perhaps she can consider moving your cube to a place that would be less distracting to her and others. I'd let her know that you'd be happy to move your seat as you understand completely!
