Does being PG just make you want to....

tell off everyone around you?
This weekend, the things people said to me just made me want to punch them.

My one major "hot button" - don't advise me to keep my dog away from the baby. I'm not a moron, I know that! and besides, respect my feelings for my dog and know that she is very important to me and I and DH will work it out!

another one - "after the baby is born you will not want to go back to work and leave the baby". Ok, you really don't know how I will react to being home and I KNOW ME and yes, I WILL want to go back to work. Just becasue YOU wanted to stay home doesn't make me a bad person for wanting to go back.

sorry to vent - i was just so fed up :(

Wow - I'm sorry people feel the need to tell you what to do.

Try not to let it upset you. I know it's hard but they aren't worth it.

Welcome to the world of raging and up and down hormones. Your body should mellow out once you get used to it a little.

It only gets worse Chat Icon The second comment REALLY got to me when I was pregnant. We visited with friends and they had a young couple over who were working on their third child in 3 years, and I told her I was going back to work after 12 weeks. She lifted her 12 week old baby, plopped him in my arms and said "ohhh, how could you leave a baby this age with someone else???". I almost lost in right there...
