Need an Allergist Rec, please!

I've had hives on and off for the past 3 months. They're random...sometimes even in the middle of the night in bed. I'm almost positive it's not food or detergent or anything like that, but i really have no idea what it is.

I live in Smithtown, but if the Doc doesn't have extended hours, something in the Farmingdale area would be best for me.

jericho turnpike in syosset is also no big deal - my endocrinologist gave me a rec but for some reason he's listed as a pediatric allergist...i'll have to call tomorrow.

Thanks!

please hurry...I'M SOOOOO ITCHY!!!!!

its definitely hormonal - i'm seeing an endocrinologist too, but he recommended an allergist to help soothe things in the mean time.

You're lucky sarna works for you - i think i wore that out because it doesn't help anymore Chat Icon

Thank you for the reply Chat Icon

Dr. Paul Lang. I think he is in New Hyde Park, which is far for you. But he is considered to be very good.

I love & recommend Dr. Amy Korobow at North Shore Allergy & Asthma Institute (she treats me for both severe allergies & asthma). She has offices in both Huntington & Commack (on Jericho Tpke). GL finding a doc & I hope that you feel better soon Chat Icon

I used to go to Dr. Eugene Gerardi in Plainview on Old Country Road (next to Cravings gourmet deli). He was very nice. 516-938-7676

If you're in Farmindgale, it should take you no more than 10 minutes to get to.
