need honeymoon idea for friend
my friend just emailed me this , any ideas, suggestions?
honeymoon vacation that has alll of the following
swim up bar
carpet in the rooms ( I know I am so weird)
up to date amenities (good ac in the rooms, feel like you are in United States) excellent running water, industry strength toilets
pool slides, very good pool with comfy lounge chairs
very good food
any recommendations would be greatly appreciated TIA

How about a Sandals resort? Never been but have heard great things. The carpet thing is weird  Tell her hard wood or tile floors are a hell of a lot cleaner!

i was thinking that too about the carpet thing! LOL especially in an island setting- carpeting gets all wet and musty from all the humidity... tile or wood is definitely better!

I just got back from Le Blanc Resort in Cancun and it is totally the perfect spot...you are treated like royalty...no carpet, but a few rugs...and they give you slippers to keep and a robe to use while you are there

Most Caribbean hotels don't have rugs because they hold in that musty smell.
What about Hawaii?? I don't know how long she is looking to go for

With the exception of the swim bar (but there are bars byu the pool), the Hyatt at Mission bay in San Diego has all of the rest - although - with pool slides, come children! Completely renovated though and lots of activities in SD to do in the day.
