I am 36 weeeks and..
At my appt yesterday the doctor just made sure the baby turned and did a culture for strep but that was it..
I did n't have the internal exam everyone is talking baout.. is that bad??? i would think he knows what he is doing..
Confused??

My first internal wasn't until I was 37 weeks. I gave birth 3 days later. That was fine that you didn't have one yet. They're none too exciting

Yea my Dr didn't do an internal until 37 weeks. My 36 week appt was the same as yours since I had a breech baby at the 32 week sono. He told me he wasn't going to do an internal because more than likely not too much is happening since I had still had some time and if I was dialated I could still go until the end. I guess he didn't want to get my hopes up if I was dialated.

Yeah some drs dont do them til a little further along. All I know is I had one last week and I saw STARS and Im only 26 weeks! AHH!

Internals aren't that necessary, they really don't predict anything.
I am sure he knows what he's dong. I wouldn't worry at all.
