Golden Gate Bridge
DH and I are going to San Fran and considering biking over the bridge into Sausalito and then taking the ferry back. It's 1.7 miles over the bridge. The website said from start to finish you ride about 9 miles. Has anyone done it? I wonder just how fit you need to be.
I ride my bike leisurely around town but I don't power ride. I guess you ride over the bridge and ride through the town and then take a ferry back. The whole thing is about 3 hours.
I wonder how good my butt will feel after that!

We went to Sausalito from San Fran by car. I don't know how fit you are, but I thought it was much hillier around there than LI. I would agree that it's no more than 9 miles.
