Donna (s/n) - THank you SOOO much for this book. It is extremely inspirational. I am nearly done.

Question -- have you or has anyone followed any of the same lifestyle changes as the main character?

Re: Inconceivable

I'm so glad you like it!! I thought you would!!

I haven't tried all of her methods,
but I have stopped smoking,
cut out all caffeine,
try to eat organic (at least dairy, but it's expensive), l
lose weight,
exercise,
acupuncture
and now am currently getting ready to try a natural cycle IVF, w/little to no meds at all.

I do believe that the mind plays a big part, DH and I truly believe that we will be parents one day!!
and I really do like my new RE, which helps alot too.

Re: Inconceivable

aww thanks!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

my new RE is Dr. Zhang at New Hope Fertility,
new hope

He's very easygoing and def explains things to me at my level, like think of my ovaries as meat and right now we are "seasoning and marinading" them before we get ready to use them Chat Icon Chat Icon

we are trying to get them back in good shape after the two cycles and the drugs

his office is very accomodating also which we all know is so important, I've been able to go in for b/w during my lunch hour, etc.

Re: Inconceivable

i just read the book also. And i think it is inspiring. Having high FSH, this book gives you some hope. I have been following a lot of the advice, I eat some organic products but it does get expensive. Doing acupuncture and taking some herbs. I just have to be more patient because the changes don't take effect for a few months. I also just started reading ThE Infertility cure by randine lewis. Very good book.

Re: Inconceivable

You can get organic milk at Costco sooo much cheaper. 3 1/2 gallons is $6.00 or something like that. I get it for my daughter.
