Favorite 1 night Getaway?
Hey,
Please suggest a getaway (Location & Hotel) for 1 night within 2 hours driving distance from LI.
DH & I need some quality alone time. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

mystic CT-the hyatt
or the same drive Mohegan sun or Foxwoods in CT
Also love Montauk-the hotel Ocean (the one with the indoor pool)

manhattan 
great in the warm weather - we did it a few years back for DH's birthday. we treated ourselves and stayed at the waldorf astoria, had dinner at tavern on the green and went for a horse/carriage ride in Central Park

I second any of these. Ive actually done all but Montauk and I love certain things about each place.
(The only reason I havent done Montauk is bc I am out that way anyway....it is a cute place!)
