What's your favorite.....
Caribbean island and why?
DH and I are planning a trip for Jan/Feb and can't decide where to go! We've already been to Aruba, and we'd like to try a new island.

Well I would love to go back to Barbados. We stopped there on a cruise and it was beautiful. I can't say that I have a favorite though as I haven't been to enough to know!!

Re: What's your favorite.....
I love St Thomas.. the shopping, the views, everything.
And if you want some quiet relaxing beach time, St John is a short ferry ride away.

Re: What's your favorite.....
For best beaches, Anguilla (british west indies) but really quite island - nothing to do....20min ferry ride to St. Martin....
For the best island - St. Barth's...no other island compares to it...the island, the beaches, the people, the food and the great designer shopping nothing like any other island I have seen....can't wait to go back there!! French Rivera in the Carribbean!!

Re: What's your favorite.....
We LOVED Tortola...It was one of our HM ports of call & we could have stayed. It was just very serene...
Also, St. Maarten! Gorgeous beaches & the people were so friendly...DH & I want to go back & do an all inclusive there...

Cozumel, Mexico - it's small, not touristy like Cancun, there's lots to do, the beaches are gorgeous, the people are nice and it's cheap! Snorkeling & diving are exceptional as well.
Grand Cayman - expensive but worth every penny. Seven Mile Beach is the most spectacular beach you will ever see.

Re: What's your favorite.....
Margarita Island. So far my favorite. It is about 60 miles from Aruba off the Venezuelan shore. It's a small island, but it has it all.
